Ronald Bonemaker (pronounced Bawn-aw-mawker) was the cubby candidate for president for the 2000 election. He was introduced to the Cubby Creatures by Rhoda, the apocryphal sister of the Virgin Mary, who knew the Cubbies were looking for a presidential candidate and so brought to them Mr. Bonemaker. His political career and his life came to an abrupt halt when he was accidentally assassinated by Huck Forest's Stalker (ne Jamie Nellieman), who now refers to himself as the Assassin. Bonemaker touted such progressive ideas as Jet Packs for everyone, three-day work weeks, and the abolition of schools. The Cubby Creatures were deeply saddened by his accidental assassination and were angered by the lack of concern by authorities, who basically didn't believe that Bonemaker ever really existed. The Cubby Creatures have dedicated a portion of their web site (which is referred to as the Bonemaker Tribute Pages) to their former friend and presidential candidate and consider him to be the founder of the Cubby political party, which is now headed by Suzie Potsniff.
